Request for Permanent Access Passes
The permanent pass is issued to entities carrying out regular activities within the airport platform. It is valid for one (1) year and is renewable, remaining valid until December 31 of the current year.
It may take the form of a badge or a vehicle permit sticker (decal).
If this is the beneficiary’s very first application, a probationary badge (temporary access pass) valid for three (3) months will be issued. At the end of this period, the beneficiary will have undergone background checks and airport security awareness training.
Fulfilment of these two requirements will determine whether the probationary badge is converted into a permanent access pass valid until December 31 of the current year.
Documents to provide:
- A request letter addressed to the ASAIGE Coordinator
- The duly completed application form (available for download or obtainable from ASAIGE)
- The duly completed information sheet (available for download or obtainable from ASAIGE)
- One passport-size photograph
- A criminal record certificate issued within the last three (3) months
- A copy of the applicant’s identity document
- A copy of the previous access pass (for renewals only)
- An employment certificate for the beneficiary/applicant

If this is the beneficiary’s first-ever application, a three (3)-month probationary badge (temporary pass) will be issued. During this period, the beneficiary will be subject to background checks and airport security awareness training.
Upon successful completion of these two requirements, the probationary badge may be converted into a permanent access permit, valid until 31 December of the current year.
Documents to provide:
- The duly completed application form (to be downloaded or collected from ASAIGE)
- A copy of the previous permit/pass (for renewals only)
- A copy of the vehicle registration certificate (vehicle registration document)
- A copy of the vehicle insurance policy
- A copy of the vehicle’s valid technical inspection certificate
- A copy of the airside driving permit if the vehicle is privately owned (not required for VIP applications)
- An employment certificate/letter for the beneficiary
